International Precision Machining opened their doors in 1992 as a CNC turning and milling job shop in Waite Park, Minnesota. Current owners, Dan Meyer and Larry Wilson, started IPM with an investment from a Minneapolis company. In 2004, the parent company’s interest was purchased by them. Today, IPM is a full service machining contract and job shop that continues to do turning and milling work while also distinguishing themselves with their gear cutting abilities. They are able to provide gear cutting services including hobbing, shaping, shaving and broaching. One of IPM’s primary focuses and what makes them unique is the manufacturing of power train components for all types of equipment. As Dan Meyer said, “We are very good at making the types of parts that are needed to transfer the power from the motor to the wheels.” IPM has always been known for an exceptional level of service and reliability customers can count on every time. With over 50 machines in a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, IPM offers:
